We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Manager to lead and supervise nursing operations in our hospital. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, nursing excellence, and operational efficiency across all nursing departments.
The Nursing Manager will oversee nursing staff performance, coordinate patient care activities, implement NABH protocols, and work closely with doctors, quality teams, and hospital administration to maintain clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day nursing operations across inpatient and outpatient departments.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control policies, and hospital protocols.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Coordinate with consultants, department heads, and hospital administration for smooth patient care delivery.
- Monitor patient care quality and address patient or attendant concerns promptly.
- Conduct nursing audits, documentation reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead training programs, clinical skill development, and continuing nursing education.
- Ensure proper medication administration and patient safety practices.
- Maintain nursing records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Participate in accreditation audits and hospital quality initiatives.
- Handle emergency situations and support critical care coordination when required.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration certificate.
- Minimum 10–15 years of clinical nursing experience.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a supervisory or Administrative roles.
- Experience in NABH accredited hospitals preferred.
