About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive Intern to join our team and support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company.
This opportunity is designed for candidates who have some prior practical exposure to accounting, such as an internship, academic training, or hands-on experience with accounting software and financial documentation.
The selected candidate will initially join as an Accounts Intern for a period of 3–6 months. During the internship, the candidate will receive practical exposure to day-to-day accounting activities and will be evaluated based on performance, accuracy, learning ability, and overall contribution.
Based on successful performance during the internship, the candidate may be offered a full-time Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) as a Junior Accounts Executive.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Record and manage sales and purchase invoices.
- Maintain records of company expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Support bank reconciliation and transaction tracking.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, invoices, and financial records.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and statements.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
- Assist in maintaining vendor and customer account records.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing.
- Assist with payroll and employee reimbursement documentation when required.
- Help maintain accurate and organized financial data.
- Support the management team with accounting-related reports and information.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and report them to the concerned team.
- Assist with audit and financial documentation requirements.
- Take ownership of assigned accounting tasks and complete them within defined timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in accounting is preferred.
- Candidates with 3–6 months of accounting internship experience will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Familiarity with Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software is preferred.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
What We Look For

Candidates with prior accounting internships, Tally training, finance internships, bookkeeping experience, or relevant practical exposure will be preferred.

Internship & PPO
Internship Duration: 3–6 Months
The selected candidate will initially join as an Junior Accounts Executive Intern and will receive practical training and hands-on exposure to accounting and financial operations.
Performance will be evaluated throughout the internship based on:

- Learning ability
- Quality of work
- Attendance and discipline
- Ability to handle assigned responsibilities
- Overall performance and contribution
PPO: Candidates demonstrating strong performance during the internship may be offered a full-time Junior Accounts Executive position with Zonov.ai.
Stipend / Salary
Internship Stipend: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
Full-Time PPO: Salary will be discussed based on the candidate's performance during the internship and suitability for the full-time role.
