The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students, employees, and vendors. This role is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, maintaining visitor records, providing administrative support, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk Management
- Welcome and assist visitors, parents, students, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Manage visitor entries and issue visitor passes as per company/school policy.
Communication
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Respond to email and walk-in inquiries professionally.
- Relay messages accurately and promptly to concerned staff.
Administrative Support
- Maintain attendance and visitor registers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing courier, parcels, and mail.
- Schedule appointments and meetings when required.
- Maintain records, files, and office documents.
- Assist HR and Administration with routine administrative tasks.
Coordination
- Coordinate with various departments for visitor appointments and inquiries.
- Support event coordination and meeting arrangements.
- Ensure smooth communication between departments and external stakeholders.
Office Management
- Monitor office supplies and raise requisitions when required.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the reception area is well maintained.
- Report any security or facility concerns to the administration team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, front desk executive, or customer service representative.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
