Job Title: Counsellor - Hospitality & Soft Skills
About the Role
The Counsellor - Hospitality & Soft Skills will be responsible for providing face-to-face counselling
to prospective students, understanding their career aspirations, and converting enquiries into
confirmed admissions for hospitality and soft skill training programs.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Admissions
- Conduct in-person counselling sessions for walk-in students and scheduled appointments.
- Counsel students on Hospitality and Soft Skill courses.
- Convert enquiries and walk-ins into confirmed admissions.
Program Explanation & Guidance
- Explain course structure, duration, fees, certification, and career outcomes.
- Assess student suitability and eligibility.
Lead Management & Follow-ups
- Manage assigned leads through CRM/MIS.
- Ensure regular follow-ups for conversions.
Parent & Stakeholder Interaction
- Engage with parents to address concerns and build trust.
Admissions Process & Documentation
- Support students with application forms and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for enrollment confirmation.
Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain reports on counselling and admissions.
- Follow organizational policies and SOPs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1-5 years of experience in academic counselling or admissions.
- Domain experience in Hospitality or Soft Skills preferred.
