Tokyo Electron India is looking for a Simulation Engineer – Computational Fluid Dynamics to join their Simulation Technology Group. The CFD Engineer will be involved in modeling fluid flow, thermal and plasma effects inside Tokyo Electron’s chambers. Using these models, the CFD Engineer will perform extensive simulations towards the development and optimization of Tokyo Electron’s processes and chambers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CFD simulations to model flow, thermal and plasma characteristics of gases inside semiconductor production equipment.
- Use the developed flow/thermal models to predict the wafer-level impact of process conditions.
- Through extensive simulations, provide actionable suggestions to process/equipment engineers for the development and optimization of semiconductor production equipment.
- Build and parallelize CFD codes for optimal performance in HPC clusters.
- Work with other simulation engineers to build higher-order and coupled models.
- Any other tasks assigned
Requirement
- Masters in Engineering / Bachelor in Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering with a strong background in CFD simulations
- Minimum 2 years (for M.E.) & 4 years (for B.E.) of industry experience
- Strong experience in developing CFD models in scientific software codes
- Basic understanding of semiconductor processes, such as deposition, etch, etc.
- Experience in Hands-on cleanroom/Fab in PVD/CVD/ALD processes is preferred
- Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced industrial environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in multinational corporations or fast-paced industries
- Fluency in Japanese is preferred
