PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To work di,ectty under Anish on design of spreade,beams, lifting frames. padeyes. tronnions, and othe, custom lifting solutions. Provides bandwidth that Anish currently lades. enabling faster tumar01Jnd oo design enquiries.
KEY RESPONSIBILliTIES
- Develop 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for spreader beams, lilting trames. and custom lifting equipment using S.olidWorks
- Carry ourl: basic structural calculations (capacity, factor of s.afety, deflectiion) per applicable standards (BS 5744, ASME 830.20, DNV 2.7-1)
- Prepare GA drawings, parts lists, weight estimates, and material take--offsforfabrication
- Coordinate with IJhe workshop foremen for fabrication queries and design clari1fications
- Maintain the design library and revision,.controll system
- Support the Sales team wilJh technical drawings during the quotation stage
- Assist in preparing c'lassification-society submissions (Lloyd's Register, Bureau Ver1itas,.DNV, IRS)
QUALiFICATl OHS & SKILLS
- B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- SolidWorks expertise is mandatory - includi11g assemblies, weldmenits. and drawings (Siml.llatiion module an advantage)
- Working knowledge of welding standards (AWS Dl.l) andfabrication tolerances
- Familiarity wilJh lifti11g equipment design standards is highly preferred
- AutoCAD knowledge for 2D detailing
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
