We are looking for a skilled and dedicated VMC Machine Operator cum Programmer to operate and program Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines. The candidate should have knowledge of CNC programming, machine setup, tooling, and quality inspection to ensure accurate and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program VMC machines.
- Prepare CNC programs using G-Code and M-Code.
- Perform machine setup, job setting, and workpiece fixturing.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and calibrate machine settings.
- Set spindle speed, feed rate, and coolant flow as per job requirements.
- Perform machining operations such as Milling, Facing, Boring, Drilling, and Tapping.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Measure finished components using Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Gauges.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain quality standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain machine cleanliness.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of VMC Machines.
- Proficiency in CNC Programming (G-Code & M-Code).
- Understanding of machine components such as Automatic Tool Changer (ATC), Work Table, Spindle Head, and Coolant System.
- Knowledge of machine setup and calibration.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges).
- Basic understanding of machining parameters including spindle speed, feed rate, and coolant flow.
Qualification
- Minimum 10th / 12th Pass or ITI.

Negotiable based on qualification and experience.
