- Identify and evaluate land parcels for acquisition as per project requirements.
- Conduct legal due diligence of land documents, title verification, ownership records, and encumbrance checks.
- Coordinate and negotiate with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders for land acquisition.
- Prepare, review, and execute agreements related to land purchase, sale deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, development agreements, and other legal documents.
- Liaise with government authorities including Revenue Department, Development Authorities, Nagar Nigam, Tehsil, Registry Office, RERA, Pollution Control Board, Electricity Department, Fire Department, and other statutory bodies for obtaining necessary approvals and clearances.
- Coordinate mutation, demarcation, land conversion (if applicable), registry, and other land-related processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable land laws, real estate regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with advocates, legal consultants, government officials, and external agencies on legal matters.
- Monitor litigation, court cases, legal notices, and coordinate with legal counsel for timely resolution.
- Maintain complete documentation and records related to land acquisition, approvals, licenses, and legal correspondence.
- Track validity and renewal of licenses, permissions, and statutory approvals.
- Provide legal support to management in project planning, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Prepare MIS reports and update management on the status of acquisitions, approvals, legal matters, and liaison activities.
- Handle any additional legal and liaison assignments as directed by the management.
Experience
5–10 years of relevant experience in Legal, Liaisoning, and Land Acquisition, preferably in the Real Estate or Infrastructure sector.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
