The Electrician will be responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems under the MGV project. The role involves working with electrical wiring, panels, inverters, and ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV modules, mounting structures, and electrical components
- Perform DC and AC wiring, earthing, and cable routing
- Install and connect inverters, junction boxes, and distribution panels
- Conduct testing and commissioning of solar systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in solar setups
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts
- Coordinate with engineers and site supervisors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or related field
- Proven experience in solar installation or electrical work
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and wiring
- Familiarity with safety practices and PPE usage
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience:
- 1–5 years in electrical or solar projects preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work on-site
- Physically fit for fieldwork
- Team player with good communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects
- Knowledge of net metering systems
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
