We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 1 year of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing principles, be able to identify defects, and work closely with developers and business teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand application requirements.
- Report testing progress, defects, and quality metrics.
- Ensure applications meet functional and usability requirements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-related feedback.
Required Skills
- 1 year of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of automation testing concepts is a plus.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
