Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Intern who is passionate about designing intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
As a UI/UX Intern, you will work closely with our product, development, and design teams to create user-friendly interfaces and improve the overall user experience of our platform. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world product design, wireframing, prototyping, user research, and design systems.
This internship is ideal for candidates who are eager to build a career in UI/UX design and gain practical experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
1. User Interface (UI) Design
- Assist in designing clean, modern, and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
2. User Experience (UX) Research
- Conduct basic user research and gather feedback to understand user behavior and requirements.
- Assist in creating user flows, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Support usability testing activities and analyze user feedback for improvements.
3. Prototyping and Design Systems
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and product interactions.
- Assist in maintaining and updating design systems and reusable UI components.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for product enhancements.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure seamless user experience implementation.
5. Accessibility and Responsive Design
- Learn and implement accessibility and responsive design best practices.
- Ensure designs are optimized for different screen sizes and devices.
6. Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Continuously improve design skills through research and experimentation.
7. Documentation and Asset Management
- Organize design files, assets, and documentation efficiently.
- Maintain proper versioning and handoff documentation for developers.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs using design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Maintain consistency in design elements, typography, colors, and branding across the platform.
