We are looking for an experienced and skilled Tandoori Chef to prepare authentic tandoori dishes for banquet events. The ideal candidate should have expertise in operating a tandoor, preparing marinades, and ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of tandoori dishes, breads, kebabs etc.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Prepare marinades and ingredients as per standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper operation of the tandoor and kitchen area.
- Monitor inventory, minimize food wastage, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and service.
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Tandoori Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or banquet.
- Strong knowledge of tandoori cuisine, grilling techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a commitment to quality and consistency.
