Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 6–8 years of proven expertise in building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate should be proficient in hybrid app frameworks and Native app development. This role involves end-to-end app development, performance optimization, seamless API integrations, and delivering consistent user experiences across diverse devices and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and/or Kotlin.

Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release.

Collaborate with product and design teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Work with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and other data exchange protocols for app–server communication.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.

Maintain clean, modular, and reusable code following best coding practices.

Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and libraries.

Guide and mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and technical training.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve app development practices.

Collaborate with QA teams to ensure apps are tested and released with high quality.

Participate in architectural discussions and help in building scalable solutions.
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Data Binding).

Solid understanding of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.

Hands-on experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Gson, Glide/Picasso, Coroutines/Flow.

Familiarity with Google Play Store submission process, app signing, and deployment.

Strong knowledge of SQLite/Room Database and offline data management.

Proficient in using Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.

Good understanding of Material Design guidelines and building intuitive UI/UX.

Knowledge of background services, WorkManager, push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

Familiarity with Unit Testing, Instrumentation Testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps (data encryption, secure storage, authentication).

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Experience with BLE, NFC, or IoT integration.

Familiarity with Flutter/React Native for cross-platform development.
