We are currently executing an aggressive expansion phase to scale our operations and support a volume of 130+ active client accounts. To support this growth, we are actively building a formidable, fully remote bench of freelance and contract talent. We need a sharp, efficient Freelance HR Recruiter to manage this massive hiring sprint.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who fluently speaks the language of digital marketing. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding our entire freelance delivery engine. Your immediate mandate is to recruit top-tier contract professionals across five distinct pods: Technology (Web/App Developers), SEO, Ads & Creative, Sales (BDAs), and Operations (Project Managers). You will take ownership of the hiring pipeline so leadership can focus on agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Sourcing: Actively hunt for and attract high-quality freelance talent across platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Upwork, and specialized remote job boards.
- Pipeline Management: Post, manage, and optimize our existing job descriptions across all designated recruitment channels.
- Pre-Screening & Filtering: Aggressively filter inbound applications using our mandatory pre-screening frameworks (evaluating capacity, commercial rates, and portfolio quality) to weed out generic applicants.
- Initial Interviews: Conduct first-round video interviews to evaluate communication skills, reliability, English proficiency, and cultural fit for a fast-paced agency environment.
- Technical Vetting: Coordinate with agency leadership to ensure technical portfolios (GitHub repos, Figma files, live websites) are routed to the right people for final approval.
- Onboarding: Organize the final talent pool into a clean, structured database (complete with contact info, availability, and rates) and assist with contract generation and initial onboarding.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Recruitment Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of active experience recruiting for digital marketing agencies, tech startups, or freelance networks.
- Digital Marketing Fluency: You must understand the roles you are hiring for. You need to know the difference between a Front-End vs. Back-End Developer, and a Google Ads Media Buyer vs. an SEO Specialist.
- Platform Mastery: Expert at navigating LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Employer tools, and remote talent networks.
- Highly Organized: Strong capability in managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) or setting up custom recruitment pipelines in tools like ClickUp, Asana, or Airtable.
- Speed & Autonomy: Ability to move fast, make autonomous decisions on candidate quality, and deliver shortlists of highly qualified talent.
Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour
