What would you do? Job Description - DAM Librarian Role purpose Own governance and operational management of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) library—ensuring assets are searchable, compliant, properly tagged, and safely published/consumed. Key responsibilities • Manage asset ingestion and governance: naming conventions, supported formats, metadata completeness, and collection standards. • Ensure correct user enablement for DAM roles (e.g., librarian/group librarian), and guide upload/download/search/edit practices. • Enforce content ownership expectations: accurate metadata at upload and lifecycle accountability. • Maintain taxonomy, run audits/cleanup, manage duplicates/versions, and coordinate rights/usage restrictions. • Support integrations and downstream publishing needs (CMS, eCommerce, campaign tools). Required skills & experience • 3–7+ years DAM/library ops or content operations; strong governance mindset and attention to detail.
What are we looking for? Tools (typical) • Client DAM is BYNDER • AEM DAM (or equivalent), metadata templates, reporting/audit tools. Success measures • Metadata completeness, improved asset findability, reduced compliance risk, faster reuse, clean taxonomy.
