1)Assist in the development of design drawings and documentation for fabrication and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) under the guidance of senior team members.
2)Prepare fitting quantity take-offs based on approved design drawings for use in procurement and estimation.
3)Ensure all designs are prepared in line with project specifications and applicable standards Perform hydraulic calculations when required to verify system performance and compliance with relevant technical standards and codes.4
Support the validation and correction of calculations as guided by senior engineers.
4)Handle and maintain all design-related documentation, ensuring proper version control and organized filing.
5)Support the team in keeping project records up-to-date and readily accessible.
6)Apply knowledge of relevant rules, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all aspects of the design process. Stay updated on changes in codes and standards affecting design work.
