A Factory Helper assists in the daily operations of a fried onion manufacturing plant by supporting production, packaging, material handling, and housekeeping activities. The role requires following hygiene, quality, and safety standards to ensure smooth production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport raw onions and other materials.
- Assist in onion peeling, slicing, washing, and preparation.
- Help with frying, de-oiling, cooling, and seasoning processes as instructed.
- Pack finished fried onions into bags or cartons and label them correctly.
- Stack, move, and store raw materials and finished goods in designated areas.
- Clean machines, equipment, production areas, and workstations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Report machine issues, damaged materials, or quality problems to supervisors.
- Assist in loading finished goods for dispatch.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills:
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy bags/materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Punctual, hardworking, and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions:
- Standing for long periods.
- Exposure to heat, noise, and food production equipment.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
