Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Senior Accountant to manage and maintain the financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling company accounts, tracking daily expenses, maintaining bill books, managing stock entries, and preparing essential financial statements. Proficiency in Zoho Books is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and oversee the company’s financial accounts, ledgers, and records accurately.
Track, verify, and record all daily operational expenses and maintain clear documentation.
Manage and update the daily bill book, ensuring correct entries and proper filing of bills and receipts.
- Profit & Loss Statement Preparation:
Prepare monthly and yearly Profit & Loss statements and assist in financial analysis.
- Stock Entry & Management:
Record and update stock details regularly, ensuring consistency between physical and system records.
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns, maintain GST records, and assist with reconciliations.
Create and manage E-way bills for applicable transactions as per statutory requirements.
Handle daily financial operations, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting using Zoho Books software.
Ensure all accounting practices follow statutory guidelines, accounting standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, E-way bills, and basic taxation.
- Mandatory proficiency in Zoho Books software.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

- Experience in handling stock and inventory-related entries.
