- Production Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the Collar & Cuff production line to ensure.
- Quality Control: Inspect the work produced by operators to ensure conformance to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Line Balancing & Allocation: Allocate manpower efficiently, assigning tasks to operators based on skill levels.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Monitor machine functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with mechanics for repairs to avoid downtime.
- Training & Mentorship: Train new employees on specialized sewing operations (e.g., collar turning, cuff stitching) and create skill matrices to guide training needs.
- Safety & 5S: Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment (5S compliance) and ensure safety equipment is used.
- Reporting: Prepare daily production reports, monitoring daily rejections, and verifying the accuracy of output.
- Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in garment manufacturing supervision, specifically with sewing operations.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of sewing techniques and machinery, such as single/double-needle machines, flat machines, and high-post machines.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team of operators.
