Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Executive with a Degree in Travel & Tourism and at least 1 year of experience in airline ticketing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) including Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre, with strong knowledge of airline reservations, fare calculations, and travel documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle domestic and international flight reservations, bookings, reissues, cancellations, and refunds.
- Use Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre to issue and manage airline tickets.
- Assist customers with travel itineraries, fare quotations, and route planning.
- Ensure compliance with airline policies, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
- Coordinate with airlines and travel partners to resolve booking-related issues.
- Maintain accurate booking records and customer information.
- Provide exceptional customer service and timely travel support.
- Monitor schedule changes and communicate updates to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Travel & Tourism or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in airline ticketing and reservations.
- Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre GDS systems.
- Knowledge of international fare construction and airline ticketing procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills:
- IATA/UFTAA certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience handling corporate and leisure travel bookings.
- Knowledge of visa requirements and travel insurance services.
