Territory Technical Head – Industrial Automation

Location: Cochin. Kerala (Travel Required)
Job Summary
The Territory Technical Head – Industrial Automation is responsible for leading the technical operations, training quality, faculty development, and academic excellence across assigned branches within the territory. The role ensures standardized delivery of Industrial Automation training programs, including PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD/Drives, DCS, BMS, Electrical & Instrumentation, and IIoT technologies, while supporting business growth through technical expertise and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage all Industrial Automation trainers within the assigned territory.
- Ensure uniform training quality and standardization across all branches.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to trainers and students.
- Monitor classroom delivery and practical lab sessions.
Training & Curriculum
- Develop, review, and upgrade Industrial Automation course content.
- Introduce the latest technologies and industry trends into the curriculum.
- Ensure effective delivery of PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFD, DCS, BMS, Electrical & Instrumentation, and Industrial IoT modules.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programs for technical faculty.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular technical audits across branches.
- Evaluate trainer performance and recommend improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and training standards.
- Maintain student satisfaction and training quality metrics.
Technical Support
- Resolve technical issues related to training equipment and software.
- Coordinate with vendors for automation hardware and software.
- Ensure proper maintenance of automation laboratories and equipment.
Team Management
- Recruit, mentor, and develop technical trainers.
- Conduct periodic technical evaluations and performance reviews.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange technical development programs.
Business Support
- Support the admissions team during technical counselling sessions.
- Conduct technical seminars, workshops, webinars, and industrial awareness programs.
- Assist the sales team with technical presentations and client meetings.
- Build relationships with industries, colleges, and corporate clients.
Placement Support
- Guide students in technical projects and certifications.
- Assist the placement team in preparing students for technical interviews.
- Maintain industry relationships to improve placement opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance
- Submit weekly and monthly technical reports.
- Track trainer productivity and branch performance.
- Ensure proper documentation of technical activities and training records.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation.
- At least 3 years of experience managing technical teams or training operations.
- Experience in technical training, academic operations, or the EdTech industry is preferred.
- Experience in handling multiple branches or territories is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
