We have an urgent position for a Senior MySQL DBA :
Role and Responsibilities:
- MySql DBA to optimize and maintain our databases.
- The DBA will be required to automate database backups, create a backup restoration script, size and maintain databases, implement user security, review and optimize queries, functions and processes and consult on and implement replication.
- Will also require to document the backup, restoration and replication processes as well as updated formal diagrams of the data structure.
- The DBA is expected to be accessible during the regular business hours as well as remain available for emergency situations after hours.
- LAMP environment running SUSE Linux and MySQL 5.0.67. We need an experienced DBA for tuning, backup and recovery scripting, user security validation and other services.
Experience: 5 years of relevant experience
