Job Purpose
The MIS Manager / Analyst will be responsible for building and Scrutinizing accurate sales and data system The role owns end-to-end MIS operations — from expense and claim verification to salary working scrutiny, sales reporting, and market visit tracking — and is expected to convert raw field/sales data into clear, actionable insights for management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Expense Claims Management: Review, verify, and process employee/field-staff expense claims for policy compliance, and timely settlement.
- Medical Representative Visit Checking: Track and validate Medical Representative (MR) visit reports and field activity data against defined call/visit norms.
- Sales Insights: Analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales data to identify trends, gaps and growth opportunities; present findings to management with clear recommendations.
- Dealer Claims: Process and validate dealer/distributor claims (schemes, incentives, returns) ensuring accuracy and adherence to approved commercial terms.
- Salary Working: Prepare and scrutinize monthly salary working sheets across entities, cross-verifying attendance, leave, and payroll input data for accuracy before submission for processing.
- Data Management: Maintain clean, structured, and updated databases (sales expense and field data) ensure data integrity and easy retrieval.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and circulate periodic MIS/sales reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc) using Excel/dashboards for leadership review.
- Design and maintain Excel-based trackers, dashboards to reduce manual reporting effort.
- Use AI-based tools to support data cleaning, summarization and faster report generation where applicable.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Field teams to ensure smooth flow and reconciliation of data across functions.
- Find out discrepancies or process gaps in claims, visits or sales data proactively to management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros, dashboards).
- Working knowledge of AI tools for data analysis, automation, or reporting (basic level).
- Strong analytical and strategic approach to data — able to translate numbers into business insights.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in claims and financial data verification.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines consistently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in MIS, sales analytics or data management role
- Prior exposure to dealer/distributor claim processing and field-force (MR) reporting will be an added advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and turnaround time (TAT) for expense and claim processing.
- Timeliness and accuracy of periodic sales/MIS reports.
- Data integrity and error rate across trackers and dashboards.
- Quality and usefulness of sales insights delivered to management.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
