Job Title: Canada Onshore Visa Counselor
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
We are looking for an experienced Canada Onshore Visa Counselor who can professionally counsel clients currently residing in Canada, with a primary focus on international students and temporary residents.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of Canadian immigration processes and be confident in understanding client profiles, identifying suitable options, handling consultations, and converting qualified leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel international students and temporary residents currently living in Canada.
- Understand client profiles and recommend appropriate immigration or visa options based on their current status and requirements.
- Provide counseling related to:
- Study Permit Extensions
- Change of College / Program
- Visitor Record Extensions
- Restoration of Status
- Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
- PGWP-related cases and reconsiderations
- Spousal Open Work Permit
- Work Permit Extensions
- Visitor Visa / TRV applications
- Other Canada onshore temporary residence matters
- Explain eligibility requirements, documentation, application processes, timelines, and possible concerns to clients clearly.
- Conduct consultations through phone calls, WhatsApp, Zoom, or other online platforms.
- Follow up with leads and convert potential clients into paid clients.
- Maintain proper records of client conversations, follow-ups, and case status.
- Coordinate with the visa filing/documentation team after client enrollment.
- Stay updated with changes in Canadian immigration rules, IRCC policies, and onshore application requirements.
- Identify complicated or high-risk cases and escalate them to senior consultants when required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Canada immigration or visa counseling preferred.
- Experience handling Canada onshore clients will be strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of Canadian study permits, PGWP, extensions, restoration, work permits, and related temporary residence applications.
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Good sales, counseling, and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to understand different immigration profiles and provide accurate preliminary guidance.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Good command of English; Punjabi and Hindi communication skills will be an advantage.
Salary:
₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience, knowledge, communication skills, and performance.
