About the Role:
We are looking for a patient, energetic, and empathetic individual to support a bright 9-year-old boy in a mainstream school environment. Your primary role will be to act as his anchor during the school day—helping him stay focused during tasks, navigate social interactions with peers, and smoothly manage transitions between classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sit alongside the student in class to gently redirect attention and keep him on track with schoolwork.
Help break down classroom instructions if he feels overwhelmed.
Encourage positive social interaction with classmates during recess and group activities.
Collaborate with parents and school teachers to implement simple behavioral strategies.
What We Are Looking For:
A recent college graduate (Psychology or Education background is a plus, but a great attitude matters most).
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
A calm demeanor, high emotional intelligence, and plenty of patience.
Consistency and commitment for at least one full academic year.
