MUST BE FROM INJECTABLE BACKGROUND
A PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Injectable is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the manufacturing of sterile pharmaceutical products (vials, ampoules, lyophilized products) to ensure timely production while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role involves balancing demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity while ensuring strict compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for injectable products based on sales forecasts and firm orders.
- Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, packing materials, and work-in-progress (WIP) levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking, ensuring high inventory turnover.
- Batch Scheduling & Execution: Monitor batch manufacturing and line loading, ensuring optimum utilization of resources (man, machine, material).
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Generate material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of materials.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with production, QA (Quality Assurance), QC (Quality Control), Warehouse, and Procurement departments to resolve bottle-necks.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare MIS reports regarding production adherence, inventory accuracy, and material shortages.
- System Maintenance: Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM), recipes, and material masters.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all planning activities align with GMP, ISO, and EHS standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Pharmacy (B. Pharm/M. Pharm), Science (M.Sc.), or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years in PPIC within a pharmaceutical setup, with specific experience in sterile/injectable manufacturing.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of cGMP regulations, aseptic processing, and pharmaceutical packaging processes.
- Competencies: Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
