Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Sales Consultant to drive sales of Passenger Vehicles (PV) and Electric Vehicles (EV). The role involves understanding customer needs, providing expert product consultation, managing the complete sales cycle, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert sales leads for Passenger Vehicles and Electric Vehicles.
- Engage with walk-in customers, online inquiries, and corporate clients to identify their vehicle requirements.
- Present vehicle features, specifications, pricing, financing, insurance, and after-sales services.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
- Advise customers on EV technology, charging infrastructure, battery performance, maintenance, and ownership benefits.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing within company guidelines, and close sales.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, registration, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless purchase experience.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Follow up on inquiries and maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Stay updated on competitor products, market trends, government incentives for EVs, and industry developments.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Participate in promotional events, roadshows, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Diploma or equivalent qualification with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in automobile sales.
- Experience in Passenger Vehicle dealerships is required.
- Prior experience selling Electric Vehicles is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
