Job Summary
Vasantrao Naik Mahavidyalaya invites applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate academicians for multiple faculty positions in Tourism & Hospitality Management. We are hiring across various academic levels, including Faculty, Senior Faculty, Academic Coordinator, Associate Professor, and Professor positions. Candidates should possess strong academic knowledge and teaching experience in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Travel Operations, Destination Management, Event Management, Hotel Management, and related subjects. Candidates with relevant industry experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Tourism & Hospitality Management.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Mentor and guide students regarding academic and career development.
- Organize industry visits, guest lectures, workshops, and tourism-related events.
- Support internship, training, and placement activities.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Contribute to research, institutional activities, and accreditation processes.
- Maintain academic records and ensure effective student engagement.
- Foster industry-academia collaboration and enhance student employability.
- Support departmental growth, academic quality initiatives, and institutional development activities.
Qualifications
- MBA preferred in Tourism & Hospitality Management / Tourism Administration / Hospitality Management or related specialization.
- NET/SET qualification preferred as per applicable norms.
- Prior teaching experience in Tourism & Hospitality programs will be preferred.
- Industry experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Operations, Hotels, Resorts, Airlines, Event Management, or Destination Management will be highly preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Student mentoring and academic counselling ability.
- Industry-oriented teaching approach.
- Knowledge of current tourism and hospitality trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
- Ability to engage students through practical and experiential learning methods.

Experience
- 3–20 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Candidates will be considered for suitable academic levels based on qualifications and experience.
Salary
As per institutional norms and candidate profile.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
