Job Role
To lead, plan, and execute a Greenfield chemical manufacturing project from documentation to commissioning, including team development, engineering oversight, statutory compliance, vendor management, and strategic coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery under the guidance of Project Head.
Job Description
1. Project Planning & Documentation (Initial Phase – Ahmedabad):
· Drive project feasibility, budgeting, DPRs, and master layout plans.
· Review and approve engineering drawings (civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical) in consultation with design agencies.
· Liaise with consultants and government bodies to secure statutory approvals (GPCB, PESO, CPCB, DISH, etc.).
· Establish detailed project execution plans including resource, cost, and risk strategies.
2. Execution, Erection & Commissioning (Site Phase – Dahej):
· Oversee end-to-end site execution – civil works, mechanical erection, electrical installation, and utility set-up.
· Supervise erection and commissioning of equipment and systems as per layout and technical standards.
· Monitor contractor performance, conduct regular site reviews, and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications.
· Coordinate with multiple agencies, EPC vendors, and design consultants to resolve issues and maintain progress.
3. Leadership & Team Development:
· Build and lead the entire project execution team across functions – engineering, procurement, construction, safety, and QA/QC.
· Define team roles, onboard required talent (internal/external), and ensure clarity of responsibilities.
· Develop a culture of ownership, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement at the site.
· Mentor junior engineers and managers, enabling succession planning for long-term plant operations.
· Lead cross-functional coordination between site team, HO departments, and external stakeholders.
4. Project Management & Compliance:
· Implement project management methodologies (PMP tools, milestone tracking, resource scheduling).
· Maintain rigorous project control through reporting (MIS, DPR, budget utilization).
· Ensure EHS, legal, and quality compliance during all phases of construction.
· Coordinate with third-party auditors, inspection agencies, and statutory bodies for documentation and inspections.

Education & Experience
Educational Qualification:
· B.E. / B.Tech – (Any)
Industry Experience:
· Minimum 10–15 years of proven experience in project management and execution, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity handling Greenfield or Brownfield projects.
· Must have worked in Chemical, Fertilizer, Agrochemical, Petrochemical, or Process Plant industries.
· End-to-end experience in Greenfield project lifecycle: concept, land development, approvals, detailed engineering, procurement, erection, commissioning, and handover.
· Hands-on exposure at project sites managing multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
