SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant for BPC Embedded Project
We are seeking an experienced ABAP on HANA Consultant with strong expertise in AMDP ABAP and SAP HANA modeling along with knowledge of SAP BW4HANA The role involves designing and developing scalable highperformance solutions for planning consolidation and analytics within SAP ecosystems
Key Responsibilities
1 SAP BPC Embedded Planning
Understand existing SAP BPC Embedded BWIP PAK applications
Work on planning models FOX formulas BADIs and custom enhancements
Optimize planning performance using HANA pushdown techniques
2 ABAP on HANA Development
Develop and enhance ABAP programs and enhancements
Apply ObjectOriented ABAP OOABAP concepts for scalable design
Prepare technical specifications unit test cases and documentation
Analyze existing code and artifacts with limited documentation
3 AMDP Development
Design and build AMDP classes and methods for complex data processing
Enable code pushdown to HANA for improved performance
4 SAP HANA Modeling
Develop and maintain HANA views
Integrate HANA models with BPC BW and reporting tools
5 Performance Optimization
Analyze and improve performance using HANAnative capabilities
Optimize large data volume processing using AMDP
6 Integration Data Handling
Understand data flows transformations and BW4HANA objects
Work on integration across SAP S4HANA BW and BPC landscapes
Ensure data consistency and reconciliation in planning applications
7 Testing Support
Perform unit testing integration testing and support UAT
Resolve production issues and support incident and change management
Required Skills Experience
Technical Skills
Strong experience in SAP ABAP on HANA
Handson experience with AMDP ABAP Managed Database Procedures and HANA modeling
Experience with SAP BPC Embedded BWIP Planning applications
Expertise in OOABAP enhancements BADIs and user exits
Experience in RICEF development
Knowledge of performance tuning techniques
Functional Understanding
Good understanding of Financial Planning Consolidation BPC
Knowledge of BW data modeling concepts
