Job Summary
Baked is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting processes, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, manage cash flow, support business growth through financial analysis, and participate in the recruitment and development of the accounts team.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations across all Baked outlets and corporate functions.
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate working capital management.
- Review and approve accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Accounts & Compliance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Budgeting & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze sales, operational costs, and profitability across outlets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Payroll & Controls
- Review payroll inputs and salary processing.
- Monitor internal financial controls and approval processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
- Implement systems and procedures to improve financial efficiency.
Recruitment & Team Management
- Identify manpower requirements within the accounts department.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and selection of accounting staff.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior accountants and accounts assistants.
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
- Build a high-performing finance team aligned with company goals.
Reporting
- Present financial performance reports to senior management.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and business metrics.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 4–7 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in retail, hospitality, QSR, or food service industries.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
