We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to assist surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure that the operating room is properly prepared, sterile, and equipped for all types of surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre before, during, and after surgeries
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures
- Monitor and maintain OT cleanliness and infection control standards
- Handle surgical instruments, drapes, and consumables efficiently
- Support patient positioning and transfer in the OT
- Maintain accurate records of OT supplies and equipment
- Follow hospital safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in OT Technology or relevant field
- Proven experience as an OT Technician (preferred)
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with different types of surgeries
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures
- Ability to handle OT equipment and machines
Salary & Benefits:
