Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced IBM FileNet Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise content management (ECM) solutions. The candidate will work on customization, integration, and support of FileNet platforms in large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions on IBM FileNet P8 platform.
- Develop and customize FileNet Content Engine (CE) components.
- Create and manage Object Stores, Document Classes, Properties, and Metadata models.
- Develop custom applications using Java APIs, CE APIs, and PE APIs.
- Design and implement FileNet workflows using Process Engine (PE).
- Customize and support FileNet Workplace / Workplace XT / ICN (IBM Content Navigator).
- Develop integrations using REST/SOAP services with downstream/upstream systems.
- Perform production support, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
- Support FileNet upgrades, patching, and migration activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and design artifacts.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Content Engine (CE)
- Process Engine (PE)
- IBM Content Navigator (ICN)
- Experience in Java / J2EE development.
- Hands-on experience with:
- FileNet APIs (CE API, PE API)
- Custom event handlers and listeners
- Solid understanding of FileNet security model (ACLs, roles, users, groups).
- Experience with RDBMS (DB2 / Oracle / SQL Server).
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Case Manager.
- Exposure to FileNet Records Manager (RM).
- Experience with FileNet migration tools and custom migration scripts.
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven).
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid deployments.
- Experience migrating from/to other ECM platforms (Documentum / Alfresco).
Soft Skills

- Ability to work independently and within distributed teams.
- Willingness to support critical production systems and flexible work schedules if required.
