The Crusher & Dust Extraction Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial crushing machinery and the integrated dust suppression/extraction systems. This role ensures that raw materials are processed to specific sizes while maintaining a clean, compliant, and hazard-free environment.
1. Machine Operation & Control
- Operate primary, secondary, or tertiary crushers (jaw, cone, or impact) to process raw materials.
- Monitor feed rates and adjust controls to ensure optimal throughput and product gradation.
- Clear blockages or "bridging" in the hopper or crusher throat using approved safety tools.
2. Environmental & Dust Management
- Operate and maintain Dust Extraction Systems (baghouses, cyclones, or scrubbers) to meet environmental regulations.
- Monitor pressure gauges and airflow to ensure filters are functioning correctly.
- Manage water-based dust suppression sprays and chemical additives where applicable.
3. Maintenance & Inspection
- Perform pre-shift inspections on belts, rollers, liners, and lubrication levels.
- Identify and report abnormal vibrations, noises, or overheating in bearings and motors.
- Assist maintenance teams with the replacement of wear parts (e.g., mantles, liners, or filter bags).
4. Safety & Compliance
- Strictly adhere to Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during any maintenance or clearing activities.
- Maintain a clean workspace to prevent fire hazards and "slip, trip, fall" incidents.
- Ensure all processed materials meet quality standards and moisture content targets.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
