About the Role
We are seeking a creative and passionate Content Writer to develop impactful content that communicates our NGO's mission, programs, success stories, and social impact. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing skills, strong research abilities, and a passion for social development.
Key Responsibilities
- Write engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media, and fundraising campaigns.
- Create compelling stories, case studies, beneficiary success stories, and impact reports.
- Develop content for brochures, annual reports, presentations, and donor communications.
- Research social issues, government schemes, and NGO-related topics.
- Assist in grant proposal writing and fundraising content creation.
- Manage and update website content regularly.
- Create SEO-friendly articles to improve online visibility.
- Collaborate with program teams to collect field stories, photos, and impact data.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Support awareness campaigns and advocacy initiatives through content development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Marketing, Social Work, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of content writing experience (NGO experience preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong storytelling and editing abilities.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital content marketing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in grant writing and donor communications.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategy.
- Understanding of development sector issues, CSR, education, health, women empowerment, or rural development programs.

Salary
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and skills)
