Engineer II, Software Dev Test QE
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for comprehensive testing, coordinating releases, and providing outstanding support to meet business needs. Collaborating with the Corporate Systems Tech Lead, Architects, QA, and Release Management teams, you'll contribute to developing an application that supports our business objectives. Our department focuses on delivering robust, large-scale data integration and innovative home office solutions. We seek candidates with practical experience, a commitment to ongoing learning, and a passion for teamwork and excellence.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for custom web-based application, APIs and ETLs.

Ensure end-to-end quality by implementing testing strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices.

Work closely with developers, product owners and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with project requirements.

Collaborate in Agile environments, actively participating in requirements gathering, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Continuously improve testing processes, identify gaps and implement automation where feasible.

Communicate on team's behalf to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work in an agile environment with various scrum teams, using test management tools such as Zephyr.

Support planned change requests and releases.
Knowledge & Experience

4+ years of experience in information technology/software development with a proven ability to ensure high quality results and with expertise in test automation, agile methodologies and QA best practices.

4+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber and PowerShell for automation.

2+ years in SQL development.

Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases

Experience with Atlassian tool set, JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Experience with AI in software testing/development.

Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving.
Core Competencies:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
