Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and hardworking Horticultural Assistant for our farmhouse. The role requires hands-on work along with basic supervision. Preference will be given to candidates interested in gardening and farming work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care of plants, lawns, flowers, fruits, and vegetables
- Seasonal Planting, watering, pruning, weeding, and garden maintenance
- Regular monitoring of plant and crop health
- Operate tools and small machinery for basic farming needs
- Basic landscaping and farm support work
- Keep stock of seeds, fertilizers, and other supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness of farm and garden areas
- Work actively – not just supervising but performing tasks independently
Requirements:
- Interest in horticulture, gardening, farming
- Basic dairy experience is a strong plus
- Must be physically fit and willing to do outdoor manual labor
- Honest, responsible, able to follow routines and willing to learn
- Able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
- BSc Horticulture is a plus
- Basic reading/writing in Hindi/English preferred
- Basic plant knowledge preferred
