Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Sales Manager to support the sales team in achieving targets, managing client interactions, and ensuring smooth execution of the sales process. This role involves both individual contribution and team support, including client handling and closures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving team sales targets.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads, including client calling and follow-ups.
- Convert leads into successful sales through effective pitching and negotiation.
- Support in managing and guiding junior sales executives.
- Maintain and update CRM with accurate client data and sales activities.
- Monitor daily performance metrics and share reports with the manager.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Handle client queries and ensure a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with client calling and target-driven environment.
- Basic leadership or team handling experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales processes.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in consultancy, BFSI, or startup ecosystem.
- Good closing skills and client relationship management.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
