Purpose of the job:
Experienced – Legal Business Partner to serve as a strategic legal advisor for our business
units. This role will involve providing proactive legal counsel on a broad range of matters,
ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting commercial
transactions and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary legal advisor to specific business units, working closely with
leadership on legal and strategic matters.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements,
vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide legal support on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, data privacy,
employment issues, and intellectual property matters.
- Identify potential legal risks in business initiatives and provide practical, business oriented solutions.
- Liaise with external counsel on complex legal matters as needed.
- Assist with internal policy development, training, and awareness programs.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact business operations.
- Lead or support legal due diligence for M&A, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships
(if applicable).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and Compliance.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate law, employment law, data
protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and general business law.
- Proven ability to provide sound, timely legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
