As we continue expanding our dark store network across cities, we are looking for a Cluster Manager to lead operations across multiple dark stores and ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, and business growth.
We are looking for a highly driven and operations-focused Cluster Manager to oversee the performance of multiple dark stores within a city or cluster.
This role will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, inventory management, last-mile performance, workforce productivity, and customer service standards across all assigned locations.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in warehouse operations, quick commerce, e-commerce, FMCG distribution, retail operations, or supply chain management and possess the ability to manage multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Own end-to-end operations across multiple dark stores within the assigned cluster
- Ensure smooth execution of inbound, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch, and last-mile operations
- Monitor daily operational performance and drive corrective actions where required
- Ensure all stores consistently achieve operational KPIs and service standards
- Conduct regular store visits and operational reviews
- Drive operational discipline and SOP adherence across all locations
- Ensure high inventory accuracy across all dark stores
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for replenishment
- Minimize inventory losses, damages, expiries, and stock discrepancies
- Conduct regular audits and inventory reconciliation exercises
- Ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained across the cluster
- Monitor delivery performance and SLA adherence across stores
- Drive improvements in order fulfillment speed and delivery efficiency
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
- Resolve operational escalations impacting customer experience
- Work closely with Last Mile teams to improve delivery productivity and service levels
- Lead and manage Store Managers, Shift Incharges, Warehouse Executives, and operational teams
- Drive manpower planning and workforce productivity across all stores
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Ensure proper staffing levels to support business growth
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Monitor store-level profitability and operational costs
- Drive initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational expenses
- Track and optimize manpower cost, inventory cost, and delivery cost
- Support achievement of cluster-level revenue and operational targets
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- Support new dark store launches within the cluster
- Ensure operational readiness before go-live
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, IT, and Last Mile teams during expansion projects
- Drive smooth onboarding and stabilization of newly launched stores
- Monitor post-launch performance and implement corrective actions where required
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews
- Track key business and operational KPIs across all stores
- Provide performance updates and action plans to leadership
- Collaborate closely with Category, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and Operations teams
- Drive cross-functional alignment to achieve business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in Warehouse Operations, Retail Operations, Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Logistics, FMCG Distribution, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience managing multiple locations, warehouses, stores, or operational units
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and last-mile logistics
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage operations in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Retail, FMCG, or Hyperlocal Delivery businesses
- Exposure to dark store operations and last-mile delivery networks
- Experience with WMS, OMS, ERP, and operational dashboards
