SkillDzire is looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to deliver engaging online training sessions for students and aspiring healthcare professionals. The trainer will be responsible for teaching industry-relevant medical coding concepts, preparing learners for certifications and careers, and providing practical knowledge through real-world case studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online training sessions on Medical Coding.
- Teach ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Explain coding guidelines, documentation standards, and healthcare compliance.
- Develop and update course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and mentor students throughout the program.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Share industry best practices and certification preparation strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest coding standards and healthcare regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Medical Coding or Medical Coding Training.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and online teaching skills.
- CPC, CCS, CCA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
