Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Neuro OT Technician to assist neurosurgeons and OT staff during neuro surgical procedures. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining OT sterility, handling neuro surgical instruments and equipment, and ensuring smooth functioning of the Neuro OT.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Neuro Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgeries.
- Assist neurosurgeons during cranial, spine, and other neuro procedures.
- Handle and sterilize neuro surgical instruments and OT equipment.
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of OT machines, drills, microscopes, cautery, suction, monitors, etc.
- Maintain aseptic and infection control protocols as per NABH standards.
- Assist in patient shifting, positioning, and preparation for surgery.
- Maintain OT records, surgical consumables, and inventory.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff, and biomedical department.
- Ensure timely cleaning and turnover of OT between procedures.
- Report equipment malfunction or shortages immediately.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology.
- Experience in Neuro OT preferred.
- Knowledge of OT sterilization and infection control practices.
- Basic understanding of neurosurgical instruments and equipment.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency duties.
Skills Required
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of NABH protocols and OT documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency surgeries.
- Attention to detail and patient safety awareness.
Experience
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Neuro OT experience.
Salary
- Best in industry (Negotiable based on experience and skills).
