Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – Steel Fabrication and Welding

Min. Qualification: ITI / Diploma
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer with Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Inspection & Quality Control of Steel Fabrication and Welding to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards, performing inspections, maintaining documentation and working closely with production teams to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Conduct in-process and final inspections of steel fabrication and welding operations to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., EN, AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.).
o Utilize tools such as non-destructive testing (NDT) methods (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant, etc.) to assess weld quality.
o Measure dimensions of products and components using callipers, micrometres and other precision tools.
- Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with welding supervisors, production managers, and engineers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
o Provide feedback and guidance to welding personnel on quality standards and best practices.
o Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality management systems.
