About the Role
Blynk Virtual Technologies is seeking a General Manager to serve as the highest level of executive management below the Board. This role is the direct interface between the Directors and the entire operational organisation. The GM will own day-to-day management, drive innovation, frame and enforce company policy, and represent Blynk before clients, statutory authorities, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall business operations across all shifts and functions, ensuring service delivery targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Act as the principal point of contact between the Board of Directors and operational teams; translate Board direction into executable plans
- Design, review, and implement company policies, SOPs, and internal controls across HR, operations, and administration
- Drive innovation in service delivery, process design, and technology adoption to improve efficiency and margins
- Manage relationships with [clients/partners], vendors, and other external stakeholders
- Represent the Company before government departments, regulators, and statutory authorities; ensure timely filings, licences, registrations, and renewals
- Ensure full compliance with applicable labour, corporate, and industry regulations, including the MP Shops and Establishments Act, the Code on Wages 2019, and other applicable statutes
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a workforce of 50+ across functions, including managers and team leads
- Own budgeting, cost control, MIS reporting, and performance dashboards for the Board
- Handle escalations, disciplinary matters, and grievance resolution at the final internal level
- Drive workforce planning, capability building, and succession within the management layer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree (MBA, LLM, M.Com, or equivalent preferred)
- Proven experience managing a team of at least 50 members in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Domain experience in at least one of: legal and statutory compliance, senior-level operations management, or banking/finance
- 5+ years of total professional experience, with 2+ years in a senior management role
Skills & Attributes
- Strong command of statutory and regulatory frameworks, with the confidence to deal directly with government agencies
- Sound commercial judgement and comfort with budgets, MIS, and financial reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
- High personal integrity, sound decision-making under pressure, and complete ownership
- Ability to build systems and policy from the ground up rather than only administer existing ones
- Willingness to be available across shift timings as operational needs require
Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
