Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy BIM (Building Information Modeling) Coordinator to join our ICT team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and coordinating digital construction models with a focus on ICT infrastructure. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to integrate ICT systems into BIM workflows, contributing to the delivery of smart, connected, and future-ready building environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- LOD 400 and LOD 500 model development
- COBie data development
- Family creation and development
- Electrical panel schedule creation
- Develop and manage 3D/4D/5D BIM models for ICT systems integration (e.g., data centers, AV systems, security, structured cabling).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and ICT professionals to ensure coordinated and clash-free design models.
- Support the implementation of ICT designs into Revit and other BIM authoring platforms.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution using software such as Navisworks, Solibri, or BIM 360.
- Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and execution plans tailored for ICT infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
- Generate accurate construction documentation and shop drawings.
- Support digital twin development and integration for smart building operations.
- Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders on BIM and ICT-related workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, ICT, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM Coordination, preferably in ICT, MEP, or related industries.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Familiarity with ICT infrastructure components (e.g., server rooms, cabling, wireless, networking).
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDE) and collaborative platforms (e.g., BIM 360, ACC).
- Understanding of digital construction processes and integrated project delivery (IPD).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Autodesk Revit or BIM Management.
- Experience in data center projects, smart buildings, or telecommunications.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper).
- Familiarity with IFC standards and COBie data.
