Part-Time Shop Assistant

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Job Responsibilities
- Dust and clean jewellery displays, shelves, counters and showcases.
- Wipe glass surfaces, mirrors and display units.
- Arrange and refresh jewellery and gift displays as instructed.
- Keep the shop neat, clean and well organized.
- Assist in unpacking and organizing stock.
- Handle basic housekeeping and day-to-day shop maintenance.
- Welcome customers visiting the shop during the morning hours.
- Show products to customers and assist them with their selection.
- Prepare a simple handwritten bill for customer purchases.
- Collect payment and hand over purchased items (training will be provided).
- Inform the owner if any assistance is required.
Requirements
- Honest, punctual and responsible.
- Friendly and polite with customers.
- Comfortable handling jewellery and gift items with care.
- Basic reading, writing and simple calculation skills.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply. Full training will be provided.
- Candidates living near Hazra will be preferred.
Important Note
This is not a full-time sales role. The selected candidate will primarily be responsible for maintaining the shop and providing basic customer assistance during the morning hours until the owner arrives.
