Job Title: Interior Cutting List & Drawer Detail Executive
Department:Production / Modular Furniture / Interior Design
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing accurate cutting lists, drawer details, and production drawings for modular furniture such as wardrobes, kitchens, and storage units. Ensures materials are optimized and production is error-free.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cutting lists for plywood, MDF, laminates, etc.
- Create drawer detail drawings (box size, shutter, channels, fittings)
- Analyze AutoCAD drawings and convert them into production data
- Calculate material requirements and wastage control
- Coordinate with:
- Designers
- Factory team
- Site team
- Ensure accuracy in measurements and dimensions
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
- Maintain standard sizes and hardware specifications
- Support production team for assembly clarifications
Technical Skills Required
- AutoCAD (2D drafting)
- Knowledge of modular furniture construction
- Understanding of:
- Plywood / MDF / Hardware
- Drawer systems (telescopic, soft-close)
- Basic Excel (for cutting list preparation)
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Interior Design / Civil / Carpentry
- Relevant certification in AutoCAD preferred
Experience
- Fresher / 1–3 years in interior or modular furniture industry
