Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with tools and maintenance equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace defective components and parts
- Maintain maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests
- Collaborate with production/operations teams to minimize downtime
- Install and test new equipment when required
