About the Role
Tech First Gulf Trading Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager - International Taxation & Global Compliance to lead and manage the organization's global tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance functions. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to international and domestic tax laws, oversee audit processes, maintain compliance frameworks, and support business operations across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities1. Statutory Compliance
- Manage end-to-end statutory compliance across multiple countries, including timely return filings.
- Ensure accurate deduction, filing, payment, and reconciliation of TDS, TCS, WHT, and other applicable taxes.
- Handle income tax compliance matters and coordinate effectively with external tax consultants and advisors.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
2. Regulatory Filings & Documentation
- Maintain statutory registers and compliance-related documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation, record management, and compliance readiness for audits and assessments.
- Manage local and international regulatory filing requirements.
3. Audit Management
- Coordinate with internal, statutory, and external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Address audit observations and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
- Support tax assessments, inquiries, and regulatory reviews.
4. Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management
- Develop, implement, and strengthen internal compliance controls and frameworks.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews across business units, branches, and entities.
- Identify compliance risks and escalate non-compliance issues to management with recommended corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and governance requirements.
5. Vendor & Channel Compliance
- Monitor contractual, tax, and regulatory compliance across multi-level distribution and channel partner networks.
- Ensure vendors and business partners comply with statutory and contractual obligations.
6. Reporting & Governance
- Prepare periodic compliance status reports for senior management.
- Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of all statutory obligations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve compliance efficiency and risk management.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in International Taxation, Compliance, and Audit functions.
Preferred Industry
- IT Distribution
- MNC FMCG
- Trading or Distribution organizations with multi-country operations
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of International Taxation, GST, TDS, Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Laws, and Global Compliance Regulations
- Experience managing tax compliance and audits in trading or distribution companies
- Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Proficiency in SAP and Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret tax laws, legal regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
