HR & Office Administrator
About the Role: We are looking for a versatile and energetic HR & Office Administrator to manage our internal team and our office environment. You will be the backbone of our daily operations. One day you might be sourcing a PHP developer, and the next day, you might be ensuring the office has enough coffee and the internet is working.
If you are a people-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who enjoys multitasking in a tech environment, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Human Resources (The "People" Side)
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Handle the entire recruitment cycle—posting job ads (like the ones we just created), screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial HR rounds.
- Vibe Check: Help us assess if candidates have the right "vibe" and attitude for our company culture.
- Employee Records: Maintain employee attendance, leave records, and personal files.
- Payroll Support: Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure accurate salary processing based on attendance.
- Policy Implementation: Help communicate company policies and ensure everyone is following them.
B. Office Administration (The "Operations" Side)
- Facilities Management: Ensure the office is clean, safe, and fully functional. Manage relationships with vendors (cleaners, tea/boy, pantry supplies).
- Asset Management: Keep track of company assets like laptops, monitors, and chairs. Maintain an inventory register.
- Purchase & Procurement: Buy stationery, pantry items, and any other office necessities. Negotiate with vendors to keep costs low.
- Event Coordination: Plan team lunches, birthday celebrations, and small company events to keep the team motivated.
- Reception & Communication: Greet guests, manage incoming/outbound couriers, and handle general inquiries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role (Experience in both is a bonus).
- Excellent communication skills (Gujarati, Hindi, and English) to talk to staff and vendors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- A "can-do" attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office.
- Must be willing to work 6 days a week from our Rajkot office (if that is your schedule).
Who are we looking for?
- The Organizer: You notice when the printer paper is low before anyone else does.
- The People Connector: You enjoy talking to people and making them feel comfortable.
- The Problem Solver: If the AC stops working or a candidate doesn't show up, you find a solution quickly.
Why Join Us?
- Diverse role no two days are the same.
- Be the heart of the office and shape our company culture.
- Direct impact on the company's growth by helping us hire the right talent.
